Should the DSCC endorse all winning Primary Candidates?

US Senate 2024 Election Map

current 2024 US Senate Election Map

This is the question again that looms in my mind as I’m in guard once again, to the Campaign Election Decisions that this Organization might
or might not do, in this US Senate 2024 Election Cycle.

Its the start now for the Senate Democrats again to defend their Vulnerable Incumbent Colleagues, from the States that either trending Red from the last few yrs and Swing States that’ve voted for Former President Trump twice in 2016 & 2020 Presidential Elections.

I do think that they might not endorse again a lot of the non-incumbent Democratic Senate Candidates that will win their Primaries or might not help moderately to funding their Campaign and will focus to help their Incumbents to win re-election in the 2024 Senate Election Cycle.

Though I do hope they’d still endorse the winning Primary Candidates even though they might not heavily help funding the campaign for those future GE Democratic Senate Candidates, since I believed that the DSCC should still plan to map out on which States they can still garner an additional US Senate seat for their bare majority to be added in their side in the 119th US Congress.

And the DSCC is going to have a dilemma whether to endorse US Senate Candidates in the States of AZ & CA. In the AZ US Senate Race: they’re going to have difficult time to decide whether endorse the Incumbent (I) Senator Kyrsten Sinema, if she ever decided to declare to run for re-election or not, but she already filed a paperwork before the Federal Election Commission. While Incumbent (D) Congressman Ruben Gallego already filed paperwork & declared as a Democratic Senate Primary Candidate for this upcoming US Senate Election Cycle, he wants to be the next US Senator of his Home State because of the belief that Senator Sinema’s not advocating anymore for the everyday Arizonian Electorates’ interests. but of her Rich & Elite Donors to her Political Campaign. Gallego isn’t bothered nor want to ask the “blessing” endorsement from the DSCC Org or of Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer, since he did clarified that whether the DSCC endorse him or they endorsed Sinema again, his campaign isn’t going to be bothered or make him think twice about running for the US Senate.

The second dilemma the Campaign Organization faces is in the CA US Senate Race: its actually 2 parts, 1. between the 3 declared Democratic Congresspersons: Barbara Lee, Katie Porter, and Adam Schiff, who among them 3 that the DSCC will going to endorse before or after the Top 2 Jungle Primary of the State. 2. they’re all aiming to replace incumbent US Senator Dianne Feinstein who decided to “retire”. Even though she refuted a reporter asked her whether or not she already decided to retire, and she answered that she would tell her Democratic Senate Colleagues & her own Senate Staff if she’ll retire or go for re-election. But the one who wrote that announcement retirement in her behalf is one of her Staffers, who in my view is probably still being chastised by the Senator herself for writing that even though she hasn’t really decided her 2024 Plans, though in my view what the Staffer of hers did in her own good & behalf is the right & common sense move even it may seen as being forced upon her, but its really needed since she’s suffering dementia already and her age is catching up to her Physical Body. The only way for the DSCC to endorse 1 Democratic Senate Candidate for the Senate Election in CA is for 1 of the 3 Democratic House Members to reach the Top 2 Spot for the General Election & 2/3 of them to lose the Jungle Primary, then it possibly would be a Democratic vs Republican traditional matchup in the State’s General Election.

So that would be the 2 Endorsement decision dilemma they’re going to face now up until the Democratic Senate Primary Elections of both States up until the going to be remaining weeks before the 2024 Senate Election. Its time to go over on my advice for them to endorse other Democratic Senate Primary who will win their Primary Elections.

I wish they endorsed former 2022 US Senate Candidate in the MO Democratic Primary Lucas Kunce, only IF he ever wins the Primary Nomination next year. And I believed his the best shot MO Democrats can offer to the DC & DSCC Democrats, but he must to have an active lowkey on the ground campaigning now. Though I understand that’s his new Wife’s going to give birth to their new Child, but it will be the 3rd Child for the former US Marine & Lawyer himself. I know its going to be an uphill climb for Lucas personally, but if the DSCC wants to flip Red Senate Seats, they should at least help boost Lucas like what they did mostly to (now Senator) John Fetterman’s 2022 General Election Campaigning. With the right amount of cash resources (both in & out of state), campaign volunteers to his side, and Missourians he can get to his side by having an energizing multi-racial cross party-line coalition of support, it may just be enough to make Senator Hawley win a single digit re-election, or with a somewhat miracle, loses single digit percentages of the vote against Lucas.

Another Candidate they should urgently endorse now is former US Soldier, Lawyer from MS: Ty Pinkins. Sure he has little to no chance of winning against the incumbent (R) Senator Roger Wicker, but again like I said, what’s the other goal of the DSCC in every Senate Election Campaign Cycle? To help themselves win another Republican held US Senate Seats, not just to help protect their incumbents that can be vulnerable because of the Political Shifts & Trends in their Home State that haven’t favored them in the DC Political Establishment, the same goes to the NRSC as well. It won’t hurt for the DSCC to endorse unknown & unwinnable candidates this cycle, like what they did to the previous DSCC Candidate Endorsement during 2016, 2018, and 2020 US Senate Election Cycle.

That’s it for the problems I believed that the Campaign Arm must address as soon as possible. If I’m a DSCC Staffer there in Washington DC currently, I would want to be included on the meetings on who will they going to be endorsing, and what would be the right time to endorse a Candidate as well. Unfortunately of course I’m not but someday I hope to be part of the DSCC’s Campaign Strategist Staff, because I really wanna fix the wrong strategies they have done in the past 3 US Senate Election Cycles because it infuriates me, they don’t help other the winning US Senate Election Primary Candidates that, they see as “not worth of the financial help/investment”, which I call bullshit and pathetic excuse, though I can see why they won’t spend big to these Candidates they see, that don’t have a fighting chance. All I’m saying only is that they should endorse those who won in a Regular Primary Senate Elections, regardless if the one who wins are the re-electionist incumbents and/or their (or not) primary challengers.
